Default No More Leaks

John Wahlsten asked on another thread how our Elkmont's leak problem has progressed.

It appears to be completely resolved. The factory put a large plastic panel on the central roof seam that was leaking, and they caulked it and one side seam with the new 3M hybrid-polyurethane caulk that they are now using. They also replaced/re-caulked the bathroom fan that had started leaking. This was last November.

From the factory, we took the Elkmont to Florida all winter (storing it in the open there for 7 weeks) and just recently returned to Ontario, about 4000km (2500 mi) with absolutely no leaks. There was even one really bad day of interstate driving during very heavy rains. No leaks.

We are VERY pleased.
