Default Queen bed mattress covers.

Hello Forum,

My wife and I are the proud new owners of a 2015 2720QB and are looking forward to taking it out for an extended vacay in May! We just have one issue with the trailer and that involves the queen bed mattress cover. Ours has a visible seam right on the top of the bed where 2 pieces of fabric have been sewn together to make the cover. We have been told that this is how the cover has been made for the last 13 years!! We located a photo on line of a queen bed with a "seamless" cover. Our question is this: Is there anybody out there who has a seamless cover on their bed and also how many out there have a seam running down the fabric on the top of the bed?

Since the bed is a standard queen, I would think that a mattress cover would be easily found at most any retail store. For example, WalMart seems to have about a thousand of them. We bought one with deep pockets, since we put a 1-1/2" egg crate foam topper on our bed.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your reply- We're talking about the upholstered one that comes with the trailer from the factory. Ours has a seam down the entire length of the cover abouut 7" in from the side. Just seeing if anybody elsa has this experience.

Default Seam

We have this past week purchased the same model you have...I did see this seam might be an issue...the fabric looks like it has already "stretched" after only one night of use... when open again I'll recheck it, but I don't think my eyes failed me....might wind up a warranty issue...did you find a zipper on the back side of your mattress?
