The pedestrian bridge and the shops on the east bank are interesting. They have a water park under the bridge, but I don't know what shape they are in after the spring floods...

There's some great music in the downtown Memphis clubs. The district right close to the waterfront. I think B.B. King's club is where we stopped. Great food too..

In Nashville, check out The Station Inn. It's the mother church of bluegrass music.

Nashville has a life size replica of the Parthenon in Centennial Park and their Fourth fireworks display has been rated top 5 in the country and features a live concert by the Nashville Symphony orchestra with special guests; Mud Island in Memphis is a good tour and there are lots of great BBQ joints including Marlowe's on Elvis Presley Blvd about a mile from Graceland.

The Blues City Cafe' has killer ribs and be sure to try the tamales.( I know, I know. Tamales at a BBQ and Blues joint? But trust me!) If you are a gambler, just hop accross the river to Tunica, MS and you can gamble your pockets empty at any one of a number of casinos.
