Eagle River, WI
Rohr's Wilderness Tours is 15 miles north of Eagle River. They operate a small campground beside having a canoe/kayak service. E/W service or boondocking. Blueberries were ripe this year by July. They had very few campers (probably due to their name) which was great for me. It sits onthe headwaters of Wisconsin River. It was hot but where wasn't it. Very friendly people, very clean bathrooms/showers. Highly recommend. Found them on the web.
