Buy an inverter to plug any small TV into when boondocking and you are all set.
Cheaper than buying a 12 volt TV. Most small TV use less than a 100 watts.

I bought the TV hanging attachment from TM. I also just bought a 24 inch Naxa TV that can run off of 12 volt or 120 and comes with a built in DVD player. I hang it on the bathroom wall when in the bedroom. Not sure how I would use it in the main trailer as the hanging attachment would probably make it tip over when I put the stand back on (which takes about 3 seconds). I bought my TM from the dealer in Knoxville, so I know you can get that part from them if you decide to go that way. Others will quickly post on how to do it MUCH cheaper I am sure.

John and Betty -

There are numerous threads on this board discussing how to mount a TV. Quite a few good ideas, depending on size of the TV and desired viewing locations. As soon as your membership comes through, you'll be able to go through them.

I don't think I have heard of a TM-authored video about mounting a TV, but it is the kind of thing that commonly shows up on You Tube. Have you searched there?

AMEN! When I was looking at buying a new TM that was a big complaint I had. I thought the new fake wallpaper look was ugly and cheap looking. The reason I was given for the change was that the wood was considered too dark. I could kind of understand that with the darker cabinet look they were going with, but I would still have preferred the wood look.

Lucky for me, I found a great used 2010 model which still had the wood bathroom walls.

Thumbs up Bathroom Walls

Wish the wooden bath walls were optional...like the over the sink and over the stove cabinets are.

Sorry guys but a 24 is too small for me from across the TM. I bought a 27" 1920x1080 monitor on sale (for use with laptop) and a seperate ATSC tuner. Having replaced the radio with something more modern I use the coach speakers. Works very well and just a tad over $200.00 with Fla tax. If I need to run on battery, it is very low power and I'll use an inverter.
