Default Sebasian Inlet SP Florida

Just happened to get a two day (Sat-Sun) stay at Sebastian Inlet SP very nice park with 43 RV sites. Very narrow roads and people parking almost anywhere made finidng the spot interesting. Had been looking for a while but is always near full and Friday night ? Fagetaboudit.

Saturday experienced torrential rains in bands (at one point it almost felt like a TM with all levelling jacks out moved a few inches) and foud that the TM can be deployed without anything inside getting wet (as long as wind is not blowing straight in the back) but setterr upper centainly does. Just to make it symmetrical, Sunday was beautiful and only rain was while folding TM back up around 6 pm & quit when done.

Stock antenna/Winegard was pulling in stations from Orlando (about 70 miles when crowing) & even one from Lakeland.

Had 30A power and water though needed a 50 foot hose for site I was in. Lav/shower was close, clean, and had pleanty of hot water.

Only downside was the miles and miles of TLB and narrow bridges on the route once off the Interstate. Am getting more comforable with towing the TM - know it is there and side mirrors are an inch wider than the TM is stable to 70 mph though cruised at 65. Wheel bearings felt warm but not too hot to hold. Both were about the same. Is ths normal for a TM at 85F ?

So getting used to the TM and while there is stil some fixing to be done (sent e-mail to Fiamma about remanufacturing mine since needs about $400 in parts, but open to options. At some point do want a screen room that can handle a typical Florida afternoon thunderstorm. Suggestions welcome).

Sound like a good trail of the rain. Was this your first time out? We added strap side mirrors so I could see better down the side when backing up.

No, second time, I did have strap mirrors but had to stop periodically and adjust the passenger side. Driver's stayed in place. really need a rear camera sometimes though.

Ah yes - was that the storm that produced ~5 inches of rain in that area? Much more than that and you'll need to put floats on your jacks and find a dove. Good thing that TM's are so air-tight.

Don't have a rain gauge but was A Lot, may have had some small hail mixed, just stayed inside and watched an old movie.

Was more concerned about the micro bursts of wind, really felt like TN moved a little in one but was sheltered by some trees so dodn't get the full force.
