Default Thoughts on covers.

For the moment I need to store the TM outside. Issue is not garage space so much as the 8' front entry door that needs to be about 6" wider. Since my backyard is pretty much "Florida wild", I cut out a grotto out between the trees and am lining with pavers to protect it from the Florida sun & earth

That said I need to protect it from tree and bird droppings and general outdoors. Right now I have a HF 9mil 15'x19ft' tarp in place and seems to do a good job. Inexpensive even if I replace yearly. Was considering an Adco 12295 SFS AquaShed RV Cover but the reviews particularly from Florida do not seem too good and is 4X the price of the tarp.

Since I do not normally store anything outside, I'd appreciate opinions/suggestions for best protection.

The only issue with plastic tarps is mold and mildew, because they trap moisture inside. Florida has high humidity, doesn't it?

Yes but not instant. I am keeping paths open (why the forward straps to hold front out from body and you cannot see the airpaths created by spacers at the corners). By having an airgap I get flow between the tarp and the body and the top stays cooler as well.

Might try pool noodles for spacers. Cheap and they lift the tarp/cover

I agree with the HF tarps. I used two $40 tarps when I got my first TM. Lasted 2 years, and will likely last through this summer (gave it to the folks that bought my old TM). I got another two for this TM, then discovered (okay, became addicted to) Harbor Freight. Better size selection, less expensive, and it appears that they are the same quality that I paid more for elsewhere.

I have also seen bad reviews of the more expensive RV covers. They seem to last as long as a decent tarp.
