Default Surge Guard

My question is;
I have a 50amp Surge Protector by Surge Guard that I had when I had my Class A which had a 50 amp system, and I know the TM is a 30 amp system, and I was wondering if I could use my current Surge Protector instead of going out and get a new one. I have the correct adaptors to go from 50 down to 30 amps.
Thanks in advance. to TM.

Sure just will need to carry adapters for both ends (I carry a number of adapters including one to pull 120vac from a 240v dryer outlet).

That said the roof AC is much friendlier than the shore AC in my 86 Vixen & everything works well on a 20A circuit with a 100 foot extension cord.

Padgett,
Thanks for the Info. I learned from having a class A it never hurts to have multiple adapters for everything. Also my DuroMax Duel fuel 4400 watt generator, besides being 120volt on 1 side, also has a duel 120 side equaling 240 so I have a 30 amp circuit to use for the TM.
The Gen. has 3800 useable watts.

And as Bill posted in another thread check the shore power first with one of the plug in testers. Never know when you'll run into a missing ground or neutral or in Bill's case hot and neutral reversed. DW's first job after spotting me into the site is check the shore.

The Surge Guard I have has indicators to show any abnormality at the Pedestal. All I do is plug the surge guard in, turn on power and I get immediate notification of anything wrong with the shore power. If everything checks out I turn off power, plug in RV turn it back on and I'good to go. I also use a pressure regulator on the water supply.

That has you covered and the water pressure regulator can be very useful out west where pressure can run a lot higher then we usually see on the east coast. If we have hook ups and I connect to the water supply(rare) the hose has the pressure regulator already attached at the hose bib end.
