Default How to Initially mount fender skirts?

I bought my 2720SL used and the fender skirts were missing. Just ordered and received two new ones from Trailmanor. They do no have any mounting holes drilled nor does it appear there are any attachments for mounting. There is a lip around the curved portion. How are the fender skirts mounted? I read earlier they are to be screwed in but to what? There are screws around the wheel opening attached to what looks like rubber molding. Thanks in advance for replies.

Our 2008 3023 has them mounted on a track around the fender with two screws on each side of the fender.

On our TM, there are sheet metal screws along the perimeter of the skirt. They screw into holes along the perimeter of the wheel well. There is wood right there framing the wheel well, and so the screw may or may not sink into the wood depending on how snug the wheel well fits into the hole cut into the floor.

Our TM, being an older model, has rectangular shaped wheel wells. Newer models have curved wheel wells that follow the contour of the wheel. I presume those skirts are attached as Billy / mcygyver210 describes in the above post.

Roy,

Check this photo - it should help answer your attachment question. There are only two sheet metal screws holding the fender skirt - just outside each closepin. I assume they are anchored into a metal member.

The lip around the curved portion should hook over the rubber molding.
