We bought a 2004 3023 from a private seller. Paid $12000 for it. It has 15" tires, above sink cabinet, A/C, fold away tongue, awning. Seller was asking $13500. Tires are about 2 years old. Everything is in good shape, some maintenance on our part needed to be done since the TM has been in storage since 2009. However, after looking at prices on various web sites and Craigs list, feel we paid a good price for it.
Just look things over well, make sure everything works and no leaks!! And make sure you open and set it up completely then close it. Check this forum for a check list.
Good Luck!!

It looks very clean especially the exterior. I like the 2004 model of the 3124KS because it has the regular upright propane tanks.

From the pics, it has the horizontal tanks. You will want them inspected because they are expensive.

Check the tires and see how many years and what shape they are in.

Check the hot water tank anode. Its a new unit so it is probably just fine.

Frankly I don't like the carpet. Carpet is nice on the feet but too hard to keep clean and not as durable as the tile...

We went to see the camper this morning, and boy, was it a big disappointment! The outside had rust on the latches, some seals didn't look sealed, the tires were nasty, and the inside looked like it wasn't cleaned very often. There was also some damage to the corners of the cabinets. We didn't spend much time looking at it. The first five minutes let us know why the price was so low. I guess if you're a fix-it type, it would be fine, but we're not.

I guess some people don't take care of their campers like we do. Every camper we've ever owned looks as clean as the day we bought it. As we were leaving I told my husband that the camper looked like it "had been rode hard and put up wet".

Back to the drawing board...

If you go to the add, look for the link that lets you see the dealer's inventory, then click on used. The pictures are there. The pictures make it look nicer than it did in person.

I can understand your lack of interest. Who wants an RV that has not been taken care of and is more hassle than fun. It is one thing if it needs a little polish-another if it looks like it has not been taken care of and there very well may be problems you can't see and are not aware of.
Good luck in your continued search.
