ANOTHER Water Heater Question

What year is your TM?

The older models are gas only, and you must go light the heater from outside.

Make sure the tank is full of water.
Switch the button to on next to the sink (for gas).
The system will keep trying to light the gas for several minutes. If it fails you have to cycle the switch by the sink.
Once it is running you should hear the gas rumbling until the flame steadies out.

There is a switch by the control pannel that reads "Water/Heater"...if you tun it to ON...it has a eletrical ignition source that will light the element for your water heater.Now if that source is all you want to run.........go around to the side pannel on your TM open it and flip the electrical switch for your hot water heater to "Off" then the water heater will only be heated by Gas. If alot of people are camping with me then I run both systems because it has a faster recovery for hot water.
