Default New owners closing problems

Has Anyone else ever parked on an incline and then not be able to reach high enough to push the rear shell closed? I have and I don't recommend it!
My only other big problem with closing has been the vinyl covers falling down and preventing closing the front shell. Guess I will add some more velcro to help hold them up. No other problems so far. (other than the noisey air conditioner)

Once I was on a slope where the rear shell was so high I could not pull it all the way up.

So I pushed on the four support arms, just a little each time going back and forth, in order to get it all the way up. I did the same to get it started when lowering.

Just be very careful where your fingers are at all times. I don't recommend this technique unless you have no alternative.
