Default Another farewell (sort of)

Like some other forum members before us, Linda and I have made a "camping lifestyle change" to a Lance 2285. With almost 19 consecutive years of TM ownership (3326 and 3124), we may very well be some sort of record holders in that department, but we felt now was the time to go with a walk around bed, and a few more creature comforts.

And also like other members, we won't be leaving this forum anytime soon. This is a wonderful collection of good people who share ideas. We've come to think of many of you as friends, even though we've never met face to face. If I see a topic that I think I can contribute to, I won't hesitate to chime in.

Our original plan was to sell our 3124KS to our son, but his financial priorities have shifted, so we will put it up for sale. I will advertise it out exclusively on this forum until after the first of the year, and then take it the "general public."

We have truly enjoyed our time with TrailManor, and I will ALWAYS wake my wife when we are traveling when I spot one!

We wish you well with the new camper and our plans are to use the TM for at least another decade or longer. I'll have to admit though I really like the Tigers as a kinda class B.

Dave, congrats on your new TT. The Lance 2285 is a very nice choice. We also chose Lance for our next camping trailer. We ordered a 1985 last Friday and will take delivery, the first week of February. We will be taking the factory tour in mid January and may be able to see ours on the production line.

Enjoy your Lance!

Default Lance travel trailer service stories

I hope everyone who gets a Lance travel trailer has a great success. My wife and I are getting close to our last climb up the the two step onto the great TM bed. The Lance has caught my eye as a possible new trailer that keeps some of the light weight benefits of these great TM's. I have looked at them at the local Houston show as well as at a local consignment lot.

The one concern I have is the persistent bad history that appears in multiple RV blog and member sites. These go back many years. Has anyone who is purchasing or has purchased a Lance looked into the true history with these trailers to see if these bad reports are true exceptions with reasonable explanations, or is there truly a bad service history with Lance?

Appreciate any feedback.

NWHouston, I will send you a private message concerning the info I have regarding Lance. I don't think the Trailmanor forum is the appropriate place to discuss another manufacturer.
