Default What is this part of the gas regulator called?

The circled part of the switchover regulator is made of plastic and is crumbling with age. What is this part called? I am trying to find a replacement but I am having trouble googling for it because all my guesses as to what it is called seem to be wrong.

Many thanks!

It is just a simple snap-on weather protector cover. It has nothing to do with the operation of the regulator. You could pop it off and discard it with no ill effects, but it would be nice to replace it, both for looks and for the protection from road grit that it provides. It should cost about a buck.

Strike my earlier comment if you saw it. They are commonly available. It is probably specific to your regulator manufacturer. If you Google "rv lp regulator cover", you will find a ton of them.
