toilet dump hose access
Just got a new to me a 3124KS and noticed that to dump the toilet and gray water the dump hose is stored in the back bin next to the bumper, in order to get it out I have to open the trailer. My question is there another way access the hoses or do you take the hose out first or what?

I have a 2005 3023, so it may be a bit different, but I can open the bumper cover with the TM closed. There should be rubber pads, on the top of the bumper, which hold the upper shell off the bumper cover enough that you can slide it off. It is sometimes a bit of a trick to get it back on, because you may not have enough 'play' to get it seated properly on the back edge, but it comes off without difficulty. If the upper shell is resting directly on the bumper cover, with enough force that you can not slide the cover off, you may want to look at the thicknesses of the black rubber pads mounted on top of the bumper. There is a cut out on the bumper cover where these rubber pads sit.

Also depending on what hose you have it can be a pain to get the hose in and out with the shells closed... The hose I was given with the TM wouldn’t fit through the gap with the shells closed. It had 2 leaks so I had to replace it anyway; I can JUST sneak the Camco RhinoFlex hose in and out...
On another note, I would recommend not storing your sewer hose and your drinking hose in the bumper storage areas. The “compartments” are not completely separate from one another. I keep my drinking hose in the bathtub. Looking at another option for the sewer hose, too.

Good point. I use a 5 gal plastic bucket (Home Depot orange type) for my water hose (coiled and the two ends screwed together), which lays nicely at the bottom of the bucket. Then I put various lights (a couple of solar, a rope light I hang on the awning, coiled) and exterior extension cords (coiled) in the bucket as well, and I store the whole bucket in the rear storage compartment. I do have a spare 'old' water hose, a fairly short one, that I keep in the far curb side section of the bumper, with a spray nozzle, if I need to do any 'clean up' after I've closed up the TM.

Almost the same answer for my 2006 2720SL. For me, it is helpful to release the two corner latches just above the bumper on each side. This allows the rear shell to rise just a tiny bit - which is enough to allow the lid to slide off.

I like the bucket approach. My alternative was to install some bike-hanger hook inside the rear storage compartment, and hang all the coiled goods from them.

Great sewer hose storage mod
There is a great thread on sewer hose storage. It has gone thru several iterations. No need to store it in the back bumper.
Here is my super easy, inexpensive version.

I love it.

I store my primary ever hose in a 4" PVC tube mounted under the TM. It's attached to the frame with plumbers strapping and backed up by heavy duty zip ties. A couple of holes in the bottom allow rinse water to find it's way out.
I do keep a 10' extension hose in the rear bumper for those times when the sewer inlet is far away. I keep my drinking water hoses in the front storage compartment. My front compartment access has been increased by the installation of a much larger hatch which actually makes that storage area useful.
