Default rear bike rack

Thanks for asking, there is a long thread on this subject.

We started off using a Yakama rear bike 4 bike bike rack until the rack weld failed allowing the rack to lay down and drag our two bikes until a good sumaritan made it clear that we had a problem. $400 later we found out that the most popular bike racks, ie Yacama and Thule, do not warranty their use on trailers or coaches.

We did find one brand that has a 2 year warranty for trailers and coaches but we didn't like it and there are other brands out there. Most RV stores have RV rated racks.

We have gone back to our Thule roof rack that allows us to carry our two kayaks and our two bikes but requires us to bring along our portable, folding work platform.

The carrier is a Rala NV2 . Trailer hitch install places and at Amazon.com and I to would like to sell mine.

You might want to look at Holly Racks. Hollywoodracks.com
They are well made and have a lifetime guaranty.
