Default What can I use to clean the bag seals?

I did a search. The only suggestion I saw was wd 40. I have some stainless steel appliance cleaner that is basically wd 40. Any other suggestions? It's speckled black stuff I'm trying to get off.

Magic Eraser may work, and a search on that term brought up this example using it successfully on the Vinyl Seals:

We used soft scrub in the past with a scrub brush. It did an okay job.

I am not in general in favour of abrasive cleaners, but sometimes they are necessary. I purchased a vinyl cleaner from the Chemicalguys:

Keep in mind, although they seem expensive, they can all be diluted. Use full strength if you have a heavy stain, or dilute for general cleaning.

This stuff is great:

or

It's great stuff, and you can use it to clean your interior.

Thanks for all the suggestions! So glad I have some options as nothing I tried today worked. I’m guessing bleach is a no-no?

I used Glass and Surface Cleaner for Dollar Tree and it worked pretty well.

We us it too. Very good at getting the black gunk off of the outside. We use it inside too and around the house.

After we use any cleaners on the bag seals, I also spray a generous amount of Aerospace 303 protectant on and let it sit for about 5 min, before wiping in/off.

I would not use WD40, it will clean it. But I think in the long term there is a good change it will harden or break down the vinyl??
