Ok so I am looking at moving and the gate at the new house

Thanks in advance

The body of the camper is a bit under 8' wide. The awning and the side lights make it a few inches wider.
Several discussions cover it. Start here

Somebody here has made brackets that allow the awning to flip up onto the roof, eliminating that extra width.
You need to either be a Trial Member or Site Sponsor to get full access.

On my camper, the front shell is a bit over 91 inches wide. The porch lights add 2 1/2 inches on each side. The awning is 4 inches wide from the wall.
So 91 + 2 1/2 + 2 1/2 = 96 inches including the lights but not the awning.
and 91 + 2 1/2 + 4 = 97 1/2 including the awning.
With a 96 inch gate opening, it would appear that you are indeed, as you so elegantly put it, sol. Any chance you can widen the gate by, say, 6 inches? The HOA may allow it if you meet certain conditions.

How high is the gate ? With the replacement F45S from Fiamma, you drop three screws and the whole awning assembly flips onto the roof.
ps Weren't there some smaller/narrower ones made for a while ?

You are right, Padgett -
The 2417 Sport Model is spec'ed at about 7'4", though the 2417 Standard Model is wider. I think the Trailmini was also 7'4".

Just in case someone needs every little inch, for my 2014 2417 Sport Model, the width is 7'7". This includes the awning on the one side and the outside light at the back of the front shell on the other side.
