Default reinstalling the water pump after repair

Just a hint to help in installing the water pump after repair. put a small block under the pump so it lines up with the water lines. Connect the water lines and then put in the support screws to hold the pump. It is a lot easier than mounting first, then attaching the lines.

Others have suggested installing a rubber mounting base between the pump and the floor to cut down on noise - perhaps this could be included in the repair as an "upgrade".

That's a good thing - ours isn't, but we have one of the older models. Is this rubber base standard in the newer models? Our water pump does make quite a bit of noise if you're camping w/o hookups and you want to run the water when everyone's asleep.
