Unhappy How to repair damaged front awning

I have just bought a 1999 2720.

The front awning has a tear. See pictures. Any ideas how to repair?

I'm pretty sure that you're asking about how to repair the flap that raises up and down over the front bed window. It's called a "rockguard". I asked DH about how to do this, as he has done many fiberglass repairs in the past on his surfboards (boy, that's been a while). Assuming yours is just like ours (fiberglass) here is what DH said to do:

He said that you should go get a fiberglass repair kit from an auto parts place or hardware store, read the instructions, they give you everything you need, and then just follow the instructions.

You could touch up the decals on the front with some acrylic paint where they've cracked apart. Our front rock guard frame is a bit bent in one place on the bottom, but it looks OK. Once in a while I try to bend it back, but haven't tried too hard. It's not brand new, but it's functional.

Default fiberglass repairs

If you don't want to try it yourself you can go to a marine repair. Many boats are fiberglass and they regularly do repairs on them. If none nearby try a car body repair shop. Some work with fiberglass repairs.

Has anyone had a problem with the butterfly bolts that hold the front and rear awnings up, Mine spin and don't hold. I now use little C-clamps which is inconvenient. I tried Ed at Trailmanor and he did not have any good suggestions.
