Tip on Televisions, I just found out. How to get more TV Stations.
Having been on the road for over 4 months, Wife especially, likes to watch local TV. We brought a couple of older flat screens with us and I had one of them plugged on top of the table where wife watches TV and I took the new one since it was lighter and attached it to the wardrobe where the bed was. I hardly ever hooked up the new one to the antenna since I am not much of a TV watcher. Anyway, since the wife watches a lot more than I do, I switched the new TV up front and hooked it up to the antenna. I can not believe it, we got 23 stations compared to 6 stations on the old digital TV. I got the other old TV out and it again only received 6 stations. The new one I bought was over Black Friday and was larger and 720dpi. I guess the tuner is a lot more sensitive also. Stations that were barely coming in has much better reception on the new on as well as stations we did not even get before are clear.
We were at Wilderness Lakes in Menifee, Ca and wife was out talking to everyone because she wanted to watch the Bachelor or something like that. I did not pay much attention and told her we did not get it because our antenna was behind a tree. She said she had talked to others and everyone else was getting it. I just kind of did my thing and ignore. All at once, I switched TV's at our current site in Lake Tawakoni, Texas and she immediately picked up on the fact that we get more stations and a lot clearer. Now she is looking at me asking why I did not do that sooner. I might be dead by dinner. LOL
Anyway just a tip for others so they don't get in trouble or are unable to watch a baseball game since opening day is just around the corner.
Thank God the Bachelor is over, I think. She got to watch it this past Monday. I think it was the final episode.
