We Finally Did It!
Long time (36 years) pop-up campers and just picked up our first new-to-us TM, a 2009 3124KS after three years on the forum and a lot of very good advice from regular contributors! Also landed a 2004 Expedition for our first serious TV. We added a dual 4-way, 7-way plug and Prodigy P3 Brake Controller to the standard Exped tow package (6000/600#). Although not necessary, we're using a Reese WDH that came with the TM just to improve handling and stability. We're busy this weekend cleaning our new babies top to bottom and testing all systems; hoping to get out for a trial run this week. Looking forward to being active members of the TrailManor family!

Nice rig, Terry! You're gonna love it. I would keep using your WDH. Not only for the stability, but also because your loaded tongue weight will be right at 600 lbs with both propane bottles full. Your hitch is rated to that, but just that.

Many happy trips for you. I'm a convert to TM as you and do not regret the move.

You will happy with the TM. Earlier this year we went from years of TT followed by a pupup for some years and the TM in Feb. We spent about 20 nights with the TM so far and we both are very happy with the TM

Terry,
Welcome to the TM world. Looks like you did really well in your choices. I also am impressed that your photos are HDR I too think a WDH is a very wise choice. Happy camping.
