Fresh Water Holding Tank and Toilet Mystery
Is there anyway to fill the fresh water tank without having to open the TM?
Also there is a mysterious black corrugated tube that runs from behind my toilet towards the sink cabinet, but it doesn't connect to anything, and I can't feel anything back there that it might connect to. Anyone know what the tube is?

Could it be the line that vents odors from the toilet? There is a fan switch below the sink for this.

The "corrugated tube" is a protective jacket that is slipped over the electrical cord that brings 12-volt power to the toilet's flush motor.
If you look closely, you'll see that the tube is actually slit lengthwise, which allows it to be put on the cord even when both ends of the cord are attached to something. The same tubing is used a lot under the hood of your car, and for the same purpose - to protect electrical wires from abrasion.

Leon - Thanks, but I can't access the link you provided. I sent an email to the administator. Was that the right thing to do?
Bill - Problem is one end isn't attached and nothing runs through it. Maybe it is a vent of some sort. I'll take a picture and post it later. Thanks again. db

Dave -
I bet you'll find that the power cord (black) has slipped out of the tube through the lengthwise slit. The cord still runs from the vanity to the back of the toilet, but it is now unprotected, and the tube is now empty.
By the way, there is no problem with sending a query to Chris, the Administrator. But he will tell you that you don't get access to certain parts of the forum until you become a sponsor. C'mon, it's only $12 a year!
