Default Joe Wheeler State Park, AL

Here are some pics of my recent trip to Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville, AL.

This was our maiden voyage with our TM. The only mishap I had was not plugging up the fridge early before we left and having it cool before we left......once we got there it was nice and toasty....haha.

It was a hot humid day but the night was mild. I was really impressed with our AC - it kept us very cool and almost too cool - good sleeping temperature!

I was very impressed with the hot water system. We bathed the 2 kids and my wife took a shower. One reason we bought the TM was the bathroom / shower / tub option and she was very pleased! (remember when Mama is happy - we are all happy). I used the camp facilities.

The kids loved it....played ball....fished....biked....hiked....we all slept well.

My last camping trip with the family was in a tent so moving up to the TM was great!

I have attached a few pics....leaving the driveway....getting to camp....and post set-up.

Very good pictures! Glad your first camping trip with the TM went well.

We also have a 2619 though a few years older than yours. Interestingly, I noticed in one of your pictures, that your awning appears to have supports from the ground to each outside corner. When set up, ours is cantilevered from the sides of the trailer to each outside corner.

Thanks......I am working on the site today.

My awning will set up on the ground (w/ stakes) or on the sides.
