Default Adding Sleeping capacity to a 2720SL

Hello- just joined forum today since I am considering buying a Trailmanor. Looking at the 2720 2 bedroom and the 2720SL-
I cannot make up my mind- need the added sleeping capacity in the 2 bedroom because my son, his wife and grandson sometimes come along but like the sofa in the SL to watch tv comfortably when it is just my husband and I. Does anyone have an SL and need to increase sleeping capacity? If so, what have you done? Inflatable bed, foam futon, etc.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Buckets -

While you are a Trial Member, do a Search for bunks or bunk beds. There were some fairly ingenious inventions.

I think this is the best idea. I plan to do this when the grandkids are old enough to go out with us.

Uses the Discobed

The couch is very nice to have.

Send in the 12 bucks if you haven't already. I have found to be money well spent.

I'll second the bunk bed idea (for obvious reasons!)

I'll also second the membership mention, above. This is the only site I pay to be a member on, and I've gotten my value out innumerable times. I consider it essential to really owning and enjoying a TM!

Got to tell you, the bunk bed mod works exactly as planned, we've been using it for some time now without any issues. In point of fact, the kids enjoy the top more than the bottom, and I've started not-converting the couch when it's time to sleep. I pull out the seat just far enough to slip the back down (like a bolster) against the back wall, then one kid sleeps on the couch seat-cushions only, and the other is on the cot (on a therm-a-rest camp mattress up there, because the sling isn't comfortable "enough" for my daughter. Baby.) This way, they both get roughly equivalent sleeping experiences, and they swap each day, to make it fair.

Welcome to the forums. When our daughter joins us, she sleeps on the couch. No complaints. If she did it would be back to sleeping in the tent for her

A note here; the SL works better for us as we spend 6 to 8 months camping out of the TM.
