Default Canopy Carport

Does anyone store their TM under one of those self-assembeled canopy carports? The ones like a party tent? If so, is the canopy high enough to open the TM under it? What brands? Thanks.

You'll need at least 9ft. The roof line on a TM is 5ft, 5in tall. Not counting a roof AC. The roofs open another 2ft and then the wheels are 2ft high. Estimates or approx.

If the canopy is not high enough to open the TM, you could add extenders to the canopy legs, I would imagine. You may even design them so you can extend and retract the legs, so you could keep it low when TM is closed, and raise it when you want to open your TM. Of course, the TM would likely extend out the ends when open, if you get one just long enough to cover when closed. AC would then be in the tent part of the canopy, so there should be plenty of room for it, either open or closed.

I did, I had to replace the flimsy poles with Chain link fence rail and I made mine at 9' and put them in concrete in homer buckets so they dont fly away

another thing was the little bungee ball straps were shot after 3 weeks in the AZ heat

I had to take it down the city of Mesa told me I could not have it on the side of my house. So i sold it So check with your city codes before buy all that crap

My HOA does not bother about anything that is not visible from the street. When the county issued new and ginormous trash cans that did not fit in my garage, I had to fence an "L" to block them from the street view.
