Default Hot Water Heater Coming Out

I have a 2006 Trailmanor 2027. The hot water heater is coming out (loosening). Ideas on access and securing it.

I put a strap made out of plumbers tape across the back to hold the tank in place better. I think this should have been done my the manufacture.

The other thing I think that should have been done; Is the cut out in the wall should have had 1x1" wood or aluminum fitted between the inter and outer skin of the wall. The 1" reinforcement would give screws something to hold onto. This can still be added by scraping out the foam and glue in the reinforcement. My starcraft had aluminum tub reinforcment from the manufacture at every cutout in the wall

I think I have the same problem with the outside shower on my 3326. The whole assembly is loose from the wall. Gotta figure out how to resecure it.

Had the same problem with my AC and the roof panel. By tightening the three bolts to 55 inch lbs as per manufacturer instructions the outer and inner parts of the AC unit were squeezing the two skins of the roof panels together. There was just foam between the two skins. I ended digging the foam out enough for me to add two properly sized pieces of wood the full length of the hole, front and back of the hole, and glued them in place. Something that should have been done during manufacture. It stopped the aluminum roof panels from squeezing together and made the AC mounting solid. Never had to torque the three bolts again.

I have replaced the screws around the water heater outside mount, with bolts, washers, and nuts. I could not get to all, but with 6 bolts holding it in, it is much more stable.

I simply drilled larger holes through the wall, put washers and nuts on the inside of the TM, and tightened. Could be a 2-persion job, but I clamped Vise-grips on the nuts so they could not go anywhere, then tightened the bolts from the outside. Don't tighten too much, or you will squish the foam core.

I think the 1" square aluminum tube sold at home depot is an idea fit.
