Default coupler hight

Can anyone tell me the measurement from the bottom of the coupling to the ground on a 27/20SL trail when it is level. Thanks John

On our 2010 2720sl, it's about 19.25 in from the bottom edge of the coupler to the ground. Ours has 15in tires and a higher lift than earlier year models with 14in tires which would affect that measurement.

Tim

Edit: as noted by PopBeavers -- this was and empty/mostly unloaded measurement.

Be aware that there is a modest difference between level and empty versus level and fully loaded.

Loading will cause the suspension of the axle to sag. To remain level you would need to lower the tongue.

I have never measured the amount of sag. When I say sag that includes the flattening out of the tire along with the axle suspension.

My best guess is that there is about 1/2 inch of sag.
