Default perspective owner turned to new owner

Hello all,
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Sergio and I live on the Central Coast of California. I just bought my first trailmanor. I purchased a 2000 2720. It is a little rough but I purchused it from the original owner. I am going to start cleaning it this weekend.

Any recommendations to start with if the trailer has been sitting unused for 5 years.

Also both propane tanks, lines and regulators are missing. I work by a Camping World are they a good option?

I've had good luck with Camping World/Good Sam (same company). Bought mine at one and received a number of freebies. Can be a bit pricier than Amazon but they also have a lot of RV hardware items.

Welcome to TM camping.

Which 2720 did you buy. 2 out of the 3 models, need a special propane tank "SIDE MOUNT"

Hey Sergio, welcome to the TM forum. You will probably need to replace the tires and maybe the battery. Camping World is spendy, but convenient.

Be sure to become a "site sponsor", it'll be the best $12 you'll spend on your TM. Good luck with your restoration.

Welcome. Definitely replace the tires before you travel more than 100 miles. I've used Camping World and found them to be pricey, convenient and helpful. Interesting the propane lines are missing? Begs the question on why, what for, vandalism? Furnace is not working, refrigerator is not a dual mode type? Stove and over is not functional? Or water heater is electric only?

Default Thanks

Thanks for the recommendations. Also I live by RV World. They were very helpful. I am still making a list of things needed.

1. Propane tanks and line.
2. Handle for the leveling Jacks. (Homemade storage box rusted out and fell off on drive home)
3. Door latch to hold door closed while traveling
4. To be continued.

The propane lines were removed when put into storage for safety reasons. The trailer was stored in a barn out in Bakersfield area.

For the levelling jacks I use a 18v drill/driver and a lag bolt. I had to make a hook to use the drill with the awning though, it needs a real hook and not just an "L".

Welcome to the forum! Do you have the scissor jacks that crank up, or the kind that pull out and fold down (like ours)?
