Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores, AL
Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, AL is an excellent state park campground. We love to camp there in October or November.
Campsites are full hookup, clean, well laid out, lots of walking and/or bicycle trails. Something for everyone. The large pool is one of the nicest I have ever seen. You can walk to the beach; however, we prefer to drive to the pavillion and go to the beach there. Restrooms are big and kept clean always kept clean. They have a great camp store and wildlife museum.
