How many of you guys still search the craigslist

for TM's? I know I have been doing it on occasion . lol I just want to see what others have done to them and what they look like for the money they are asking. If you still look what is your reason why? LOL

I havent bought yet so I do pretty regularly. When I am ready to buy, I will have a good number of data points on prices, regional effects on prices, etc.

My wife found our 2720SL on Craigslist. We live in TX and the trailer was in NC. It was well worth the trip as the trailer was purchased and kept in a garage for four years until we bought it. The owner NEVER took it out and decided to sell while settling his divorce.

BTW, is everyone familiar with http://adhuntr.com which allows you to search Craigslist in all areas of the country?

I found my '06 on Craigslist. After two years it is finally close to what I want. Still look occasionally for the only model I'd like more, a 2922SD.

You can also search all of craigslist using google. If you want to find all 3023's you would simply type:

trailmanor 3023 site:craigslist.org

to find 3124KBs (my personal favorite), type:

trailmanor 3124KB site:craigslist.org

Worthy of note: this is not only for craigslist, replace "site:craigslist.org" with site:"siteofyourchoice". (Also true of the search term).

I search on Craigslist nearly everyday. I use Search Tempest. It allows you to put in your zip code and search withing a certain miles radius. I search up to 400 miles out.

I bought my new to me 2003 2720SL Trailmanor last year around this time, but I did not remove my Google alerts for Trailmanor. I regularly search using site:craigslist.org to see what they are selling for, where, and what condition they are in. Just curious I guess.

I found our 2720 last year on rv trader, drove from Northern Michigan to Akron Ohio to get it......wanted a 3124, but there weren't any in this part of the country, and I had been watching for months. I checked craigslist everyonce in a while. Took a great 2 week trip to the East Coast in the 2720 this summer, with grandkids. loved it. Two weeks ago, saw a 3124KS, the one I wanted, for sale by the side of the road, 45 minutes from our house!! Bought it, now we have the '05 2720 for sale......btw, the owners had had it on craigslist for a month, but I never saw it, cuz technically I was no longer looking for one......!! I am going to put the 2720 SD on craigslist - you never know.....

I'm actively looking for a 2417 or 2518 with dual beds, so I look on craigslist and RV Trader.
