Default replacement for rotted wood

i have an older trailmanor 1993 2720 and i am in need of some replacement parts.the part that i need is the long piece of wood that is under the weatherstrip panel on the rear/right side of the camper.i just bought it used and i noticed this piece of wood is rotted out.is there a replacement piece that i could order from a replacement parts website?i need this to make the camper more weathertight and keep out drafts

I'm not sure what wood you are talking about but most RV builders use a very light weight and very soft wood. I would just replace it with pine (treated maybe), lots cheaper in the long run than paying postage on precut from somewhere far away.

Bill (HAPPYTRAILS) took an older 'dead' unit and basically in process of building from ground up. Lots of work done on just what you're asking about ... wood replacement.

I called lake city and they shipped me a repair kit for my camper. just call ed and he will help you out.
