Man this is a train wreck that just keeps getting worse. This is not a good sign at all. I would have thought as much discussion this delivery had on it there would have been extra eyes taking a look at this at the factory to make sure they had it right before it shipped.

I would have to agree with Bowfreak, More eyes should have been on this TM before it left the plant. 35k is not a cheap popup!

Plus some extras thrown in to boot.

2016 2922KD ordered on 11/19/15
and currently being returned to Nebraska.
Original delivery date was 1/20/16,
revised to 2/11/16,
revised to 2/24/16,
revised to 3/11/16,
revised to 3/18/16,
revised to "I'll have Bob call you",
revised to 3/30/16,
revised to 4/01/16,
delivery refused on 4/04/16 and returned to
Trailmanor due to quality issues.

Ugh, terribly sorry for your frustration.
Did your dealer specify/photograph his concerns-collapsed v. open or could it have been damaged during the shipping?
Given their struggles, TM needs (needed) to hit some "cross court winners".
And in this case, didn't.

He told me the build quality was at best very poor (my words, his were a little more descriptive) not even close to the Trailmanor quality he was used to and knew I would have refused to take possession as well. For $35K one should expect at the very least above average construction. I thanked him for being proactive and saving me 400 miles of driving tomorrow. I'm not sure what's going to happen now, I guess I'll wait to hear what Bob wants to do.
This was just a random thought I had, but do you think there is anyway that your TM wasn't ready yet and they just told you that it was delivered and that the quality wasn't good enough so they "sent it back" to buy themselves more time? Totally out there thought, but with all the delays and lack of communication...maybe...?

Hard to believe that a dealership would do that to cover a manufacturer's a$$. If I was the recipient of this trailer, I would cancel the order and demand every dime of my down payment back, and look for a well taken care of used one.

I was optimistic that TM was going to pull thru this transition period; however my optimism is starting to wane

I believe my dealer and he did offer my down payment back yesterday, I declined until I hear what Bob wants to do. Today I spoke with my dealer again and asked him for more detail on the condition. He said right a way he could see bowing, rippled and out of square exterior panels. It needed more than just repair the exterior needs to be rebuilt. He did state he did not take any photographs. In the mean time I am looking for a used unit but the model I want is pretty rare.

Surely someone has called you from the factory at this point to at least apologize?

Nope! I haven't heard a thing from Trailmanor or my dealer and I am disappointed being kept in the dark. I'm done calling Trailmanor directly. I feel like I've been stepping on my dealers toes with my many calls to the factory. The ball is in their court, if I don't hear something positive tomorrow I'll be cancelling my order. I made a 14% down payment nearly 5 months ago, that's too much cash to be tied up this long.

That is too bad, in many ways the 2922KD seems the perfect TM for a couple. My 2720SL suits me but not easy to play games that need a larger table.

Are a '03 3124KS and a '06 2720SL on Craigslist Orlando. Not as many as when I bought mine.
