Good points, both. I will send another PM to Chris, and I will put off moving the thread until there is a resolution. Thanks.

Bill,
Actually the problem I had with Pay Pal was a little more serious. The debit card I used was hacked by someone in pay pal, I just don't know who. This was the 3rd time my card was hacked after using Pay Pal and it's services. I'll be sending Chris a check from now on when my dues are do, but that's not for another 2 1/2 years.

Got a group 27 battery and 3 new tires with steel stems.
I also realized I am terrible in backing this thing up a driveway.

I still need to get mattress covers, wash everything inside and get it detailed. As well as sanitize the tanks.

I also think a trailer dolly would make life much easier. Any recommendations?

My two cents on backing a trailer. Easiest way to learn is to put your hand on the BOTTOM of the steering wheel. Now look in your rear view mirror, and move your hand in the direction you want the back of the trailer to move. To move the rear of the trailer to the right, move your hand to the right, which is turning the wheel to the left. It does work, and avoids the confusion of which way to steer while looking in reverse.

Also, if you have a spotter at the rear of the trailer, which is a good idea to prevent running into things you can't see back there, instruct them to stand where they can see the back of the trailer AND your face in your side mirror. If they can see you, you can see them. Do everything slowly, and get out and look for yourself if you are uncertain.

I've thought about a trailer dolly but for the price of a powered one I could buy a John Deere lawn tractor and that could also cut my lawn.

I have a trailer dolly, but she doesn't like it when I call her that!

Z, pull your rig to a large industrial park on a weekend, when no one is around. Set up some cones, trash cans or use the parking lot lines and practice, practice, practice. You'll thank yourself later, the first time you back your TM into a tight campground spot.

You need to add a wire from your TV backup light(s) wire, to the 7 pin connector on the TV. It should go to the center round pin. Most hitch shops don't wire in backup lights unless you ask them to.

It works fine on my TM.

MisterP has summarized backing up about as well as I've seen. It works - especially if your spotter agrees to point vigorously in the direction that the rear end of the trailer should go, to use a two-handed "come to me" wave when it needs to go straight, and "palms forward" to mean stop. Yelling should be avoided except for an emergency stop. Some people use walkie-talkies - I've found "left!" or "right!" through a walkie talkie to be as confusing as yelling. A walkie talkie does allow your spotter to get out of sight, but you lose the advantage of visual pointing. Some folks may have perfected the use of walkie talkies, of course, and that is great for them. It just didn't work for us.

Let me add one more detail that I learned late, but have come to love. It is a maneuver called the SWOOP or sometimes SCOOP (same thing).
