Refirgerator Freezer Frosting

I've used the battery fan for years with good success . D battery lasts a month if you forget to turn it off, moves the air enough to evenly distribute the cold, that with a remote temp device and I'm good.

I wired a pair of computer case fans to blow air into the cooling fins. Permanently attached the fans to the fins, and just clip on a wire to turn them on/off. Superior circulation of air this way, over those battery fans (which never worked out well for me, but YMMV). Plus, there's no moisture build up on the fins (outside the freezer), so I can gain capacity by removing the drip tray that sits under the fins.

Use the small fan (camco) this fall and winter and it works well. Batteries seem to last a long time if you remove them between trips.
