Reefer stays cold enuf
We have read a number of threads on this subject, but have found that just leaving the refrigerator turned off while on a trip works well enough. Frozen foods stay frozen, even after 5-6 hours.
We do most of our traveling in the Colorado mountains, but we have been to Nebraska and the Badlands this year without trouble. I also get the refrigerator started upon arrival, first thing.
