I moved the jack closer to the end of the tongue.

I found that it was harder to crank farther back. This position works perfectly. Leveling was no issue in either position.

I have the electric jack and I think it's slower than the manual one.

I see that you have a converter on the front of the TM. Does the shell come down over the converter or does it have to be removed?

The shell comes down over the coverter and inverter. With the shell closed, the bottom of the front inside cabinets lay about 1/4" above the inverter.
