We all understand that there's only two ways TM can go from here: up (get better), or out (cease operations). Until we know which way it will be, I think it's responsible to continue to advise prospective buyers to look for quality used units.

Bob admitted the people that built it didn't quite know what they were doing so I don't think it was a rush job. How it passed quality control tells me there wasn't any QC, hopefully that's changed. This is a 2015 and was probably made early after the move with very inexperienced people. I told Bob I didn't want the same people working on it that built it. He said they're much better trained now and he has a new guy from California who knows RV construction. I guess it's wait and see, as I type this from my tent trailer (which I'm glad I didn't sell yet) in a state park campsite that, when I made the reservation, I thought we'd be in a new Trailmanor.

Looks like there is only the one Rise prototype for sale, no 2015 or 2016s, and just a few 2014s. Glad I have mine.

Have you talked to CustomRV at all and informed them of the issues? A little surprised all the issues got past their inspection.

When I was concerned about my new order they assured me that while they have seen some issues with the new units but that they would inspect and repair any issues. Glad I canceled my order and bought an older used. Built by the skilled workers in TN.

Also, someone is selling a 2013 2922KD in Colorado. Posted in the TM for sale section. Exact model you originally wanted, and manufactured at the old factory. Dump your 2015 on TM and go get that one!

I really don't think they inspected it very well because there was a short in the wiring. We spent over 6 1/2 hours there during our PDI and kept finding minor stuff and waited while they fixed them. We ending up coming back the next morning because of the wiring short. I probably talked or emailed Gena every other day reporting issues that arose over the next 8 days. Gena assured me that Auburn Kent Valley RV and the Trailmanor factory were made aware and would take care of everything. It started out with the bag seals not sealing, I was told it just needed some adjusting. The bathroom window needed to be replaced, Scott said he would order it and have it sent to Auburn Kent. A few days later the front shell latch catch and trim separated. The next day, on only the 4th time opening it, the slide out jumped off it's track. Once we got it home and over to Auburn Kent they pointed out a several more things that weren't right. In hindsight I regret not returning it to Custom RV when the major stuff started happening but we were closer to home and out of time.

I wasn't aware of it, not that it matters, I think it will be some time before this situation gets resolved one way or the other.
