First trip in our 2006 2720SL
We camped at Vogel State Park in north Georgia. It is about 3 hours from our home in Jackson. It is a beautiful state park in the mountains. We had to make reservations a year ago. It is a very popular park. We camped on site 51 . It was almost the size of a football field. It was huge. We set up without any problems. My wife later said the trailer wobbled more than it did at home. I forgot to lower the stabilizers. Big Dummy lol. Everything work great. We did have an issue with the toilet not letting stuff flow down properly. After I got home , I removed the plastic Shute. It got down to 45 degrees. The heat strip in the a/c and the furnace warmed up the trailer quickly. The bed with the 2" feather topper slept really good and the shell closed with it. The ottamon I ordered from Amazon worked great with the chair. The TM towed beautifully up the mountains and highways. I tow with a Toyota Tundra 5.7 . It gets 18 mpg when not towing. When towing in the mountains , stop and go traffic , the mpg dropped to 12.5 When towing on the highway, my mpg was 15.5 We watched big Fivers trying to back in. They were having a tough time. It was a snap with the TM. Sure they have more luxury than us , but they can't go where I can go. We were very happy with our TM . It is a huge difference from our old popup.
