Corner Latches (Generic)
Many parts on the TM are generic. Here's a case in point:
I had a corner latch break while I was in British Columbia. (I'd bent it several times when the wind blew it around and I closed the shell on the threaded bolt.) I was trying to figure out how to get a replacement shipped to me while on the road. A few days later, while sitting in a ferry line, I noticed that the same type of thing was used on a collapsible pickup camper. I then looked around and saw that popup campers also use them. I went to a RV place in Nanaimo, BC (on Vancouver Island). When I told the guy in the parts department that I had a TM, he looked at me like I was talking in a foreign language. I pulled out my cell phone and showed him a picture. He walked over to a display rack and pulled one off for me. It cost me $20 (CAD) which is about $15.50 (US). I installed it and it works like a charm.
