Angry Fridge Propane problem

hi all,

I am a relatively new bee to the TM scene. I have a 2003 2720 and am having problems getting the fridge to get going on propane. It cools fine on 110 but when I light the gas, as soon as I release the safety button, the gas goes out. I even wedged a stick to keep the button depressed for a half hour - I can go outside and see and hear the gas burning - but as soon as I release that button, the gas goes out.

Any ideas - this is very frustrating

Default Fridge Propane Problem

My first thought would be the thermocouple , check just where you see the flame for a small silver tube with a copper connector that goes into the gas valve with a screw in connection. replacing it is about the only way to check it.

There was a service bulletin for this issue. Do a search on recall for the fridge "name model recall". But it not a recall, just a service bulletin or fix, but everyone calls it a recall. There are 2 wires that you replace that over time create high resistance. there is a wire kit or you can make your wires

I think you will find the info here
