Default Jacking up 2619 to replace bearings

I would like to replace my bearings before I begin a 2-3000 mile journey in a couple of weeks. I would like to know how you would jack up the trailer to do this? I would prefer to remove both wheels at once so I can take the hubs and have the bearings properly pressed in. In the old days I would just use a large wooden dowel and ball peen hammer to do that. I've been told it is no longer a good idea :-). Any advice on jacking up the trailer would be appreciate. Just don't want to bend the frame.

On a flat surface, and starting with it level fwd/aft. I would jack up one side with the jack position under the frame rail that runs fwd/aft as near to the front of axle mount as possible, but not on any of the axle hardware. Then place a jack stand under the frame. I then would do the other side.

The way I have done this is:
  1. on a flat surface, attach TM to TV, and chock TV wheels
  2. jack up TM by the frame, as instructed above, NOT by the axle, and lower stabilizer jacks on that side. Remove wheel.
  3. move jack to the other side, and repeat step 2.
  4. do not slide any body part under the TM when it is supported only by jacks.

If you are talking about actually removing the bearing races by taping a hammer against dowel, I'm not sure why that would a bad idea. Certainly the dowel is not going to damage the hub. A much faster and easier way to remove the races is with a race driver set, like this one from Harbor Freight:

I bought this set several years ago, as it complies with my rule of not buying anything from there that operates at a high speed or plugs into the wall, and it works great. I use it to both remove and install the races. They also sell a seal puller for a few bucks that makes that task super fast and easy as well.

So which color or size are the TM's bearings?

Thanks to everyone that responded. I had a successful weekend replacing and repacking my bearings. I just wish that I had known that you should open the Trailmanor first. I ended up letting the air out of the tires to get them out of the wells. Oh well. We live and learn.
