repair rally idea
speaking to a fellow camper in an airstream. he mentioned that airstreams have "repair rallies"
http://wbccicaravan.wbcci.net/how-to...tenance-rally/
wouldn't. it be nice if the factory, a dealer or even a knowledgable owner. was willing to host a tm. repair rally.
show people how to do all those things unique to to the trailmanor
just a thought...if anyone is interested or knows of someone capable of such an endeavor ...i would be interested

The next question, Bob, is "How far would people be willing to travel for such an event?" And, "where would be close to where many people would like to do a vacation?"
Not a bad idea.

Great Idea
I'm in Maryland and would travel as far as the Mississippi River area.

I think it's a great idea, assuming we could get to the locale. We're pretty centrally located so unless it's "on the coast", we'd be interested

I think it sounds like a great idea, though I am in Bill's neck of the woods, so I probably could just convince him to host something for me locally (wishful thinking)...

Just 'spit-ballin' but wouldn't it make sense to have regional rallies?

This is the kind of thing that the Trailblazers chapters are really good at. Combined with an already-planned rally, it could be a great success. It was the Trailblazers' New England Pilgrim Chapter that got together and hosted a Screen Door Day when I first developed the TM screen door.
Using the club organization would save the need for individuals to try to organize something from scratch.
