Default New larger fresh water tank?

Has anyone installed one, and is it easy to get a 40 gal in there?

On my 2720 I have a nice open space next to the 20.

Inexpensive one here:

The 2720 (among others) comes with an optional 40-gallon tank, and I seem to recall it sits in the same place as the 20-gallon. So I would think it's just as easy as finding the right 40-gallon tank with the right dimensions.

But it is done regularly.

In my 2005 TM 2720 the 40 gallon tank and the water pump fit under the seat on the street side.

There is just enough room for me to store a pair of 50 foot water hoses on top of the water pump.

As always, remember that 40 gallons of water weighs about 350 pounds. That is a lot in a 3500-pound trailer. It is always better to fill up when you arrive, either from a local source or from water jugs you carry in your tow vehicle. Sometimes that is not possible, and your Ody tow vehicle is already running pretty close to the edge (on which side of the edge?) If you must travel with full tanks, do it slowly and carefully.

Yes I plan to fill up at the last miles. But then there is gray water. So I'll have to deal with that. I have a Porta pottie.

I do have a macerator pump and hose. So I can dump gray in a large variety of places. Not on the public ground though.
