Default Air conditioner top fan exposed?

I just brought my TM home from the storage facility and I looked at the top of the A/C and I see the exhaust fan. Is there suppose to be a cover on top of the 9000 series A/C or is that fan suppose to be open like that? Something I haven't really looked at since I bought it last year.

In your signature pic it looks like you have the cover, I've seem some sitting along the interstate so they can blow off. Doubt you would see a fan exposed to weather.

Yes it has the shroud around it but on the top side of the A/C the fan is open. I have attached a pic of what the top looks like.

Looks like mine. Fan has to move the air somewhere.

But as far as your AC goes, it looks just like mine on the top and on the inside I wonder if it is LOUD? Like Padgett said his has two speeds "high and ludicrous".

Thumbs up that's why....

I am switching mine out for the Atwood 15026. Twice as quiet as the Coleman (or any other roof top for that matter)! Can't wait!
