Default Stuck Table leg

Hi,
I am checking things out for this season and I cannot get one of the table legs to slide into place.
I open the table and pull down the leg. Then I try to move the inner sliding part of the leg and it wont budge. Anyone have this problem before? I thought I would check with you, because I don't want to force anything and break the leg.

LOL, I just posted a question on this yesterday. Under a less descriptive subject tho. I was told to grab the end with a pair of vice grips and pull it out. Take off that rubber tip first. Pliers would probably work. I gave it a spray with some teflon and oil mix mix afterwards.

I had a leg that periodically got stuck, and several times I was eventually able to free it, but it finally got stuck so bad that I couldn't budge it at all (after the TM was about a year and a half old), so I finally ordered a new one from TM which, so far, has had no problem (just a few screws to replace it). The legs do seem to need to be handled with kid gloves, though. Not the most robust design in the world.

On my recent trip, I played around until I discovered the secret of avoiding stuck leg syndrome. It is simple. When you are collapsing the table, and sliding the lower half of the leg into the upper half, slide it in only halfway. There is plenty of clearance for the half-collapsed leg, and since the sticking happens only when you ram the lower leg all the way into the upper one, you avoid it entirely.

I have had the same experience as Bill.
I got it stuck a couple of times but was able to pull the leg free with my hand.
I even took it apart to see what makes it tick and concluded that I just don't need to slide the leg up as far as I was.
Now I just don't slide it up as far when closing the table and I haven't had any further problem with it.
