mystery 12v locations
Hello all,
OK, I give up. I have been looking for a while and can not find any thread with a specific location for 12v outlets in a 2013 2720. Some general references to the back and the front, but none about where they are exactly.
Any help out there in TM land?
Thanks

Hi Tentcamper,
Sorry, but you are speaking to guy who needs TM for dummies! Actually, I am only dealing with reality through pictures and some else's eyes, I do not have an actual TM to lay hands on.......
Do you mean near the tv antenna or on each side of the antenna?
Do you mean the outlets are cigarette style?
I am aware of one in the back by the bathroom but the person I am buying this trailer from indicates that is the only one known in the interior. They are unaware of any in the front part of the SL.
thanks for your help

If you face the refrigerator, and look a bit to the right, the entire TV entrance panel is on the wall below the counter top beside the refrig, about 3 feet above the floor. It is a cigarette lighter style socket. This outlet is very tight fitting, so a number of us have bought an "outlet expander" of some sort, and left it in place permanently. A picture of an outlet expander is in my tech album here

A 2720 has another cigarette outlet about 6 inches above the floor, near the back bed, outside the bathroom.
I don't believe that there any other 12-volt outlets, inside or out, though I wish there were.

On my 2013-2619 my 12v outlet is just before the back bed, about 6” off the floor on the curb side, just behind the power distribution center. Other folks might call it the fuse/circiut box.

mystery 12v outlets
Hi Bill,
Thanks for information. I am now aware that Tentcamper was speaking of the antenna coax outlets and not the antenna location.......
Still, after your directions, and referring to the pictures I received from the seller, I still can not spot the cigarette lighter 12v sockets.
To the right of the refrigerator is an immediate corner which goes back to the driver's side wall. On that wall, as far as I can tell, there is an antenna outlet and a 120v plug. Both with white wall plates.
Is the 12v outlet paired with the antenna outlet or hidden in some way? Other wise it is not observable in the rather clear picture that I have.
What is eluding me is the length of 12v extension cable I will need to power the new Jensen TV. If indeed, it is under the counter where you indicate, then I won't need an extension. On the other hand, the seller has identified the 12v outlet near the bed as existing so the cable may need to stretch from that location. The seller also has indicated there are no other 12v outlets in the interior. So..................
If you have an idea of how much extension cord I will need from the bed area, I would appreciate it. If you could make a 12v socket appear in the under counter cabinet by the fridge, that would be appreciated as well.
Regards,
Short of volts

On my 2013 Trailmanor, they put my 12V plug just aft of the power panel on the tub hallway wall. It took me awhile to find mine, but I knew there was one in the trailer. After finding it, I felt it was in a bad location for my needs and added one to the area that Bill mentioned in his post. To the right of the fridge.

The antenna wall plate near the refrig should look like this. It is separate from the 120-volt outlets - separate wall plate. Note the inclusion of a 12-volt cigarette-lighter socket. It is possible that the antenna plate moved to the sink apron. If TM changed this installation, I wasn't aware of it. But then, my TM is getting pretty old.

Thanks to Bill and Kidkraz for their information.
Looks like there is no 12v outlet in the sink cabinet. The seller was probably right in this regard as I see nothing in the pictures I have resembling anything like what you guys have posted.
Well, time to get a long extension cord to run from the back.
Thanks again all, for putting out your time to help someone out.

Why not just add a 12V outlet? They are so simple to wire.
