Default We Had a Great 2 Weeks at Beaver Hollow Campground, Ossipee, NH

We had 2 great weeks in Ossipee, NH. This was our 2nd time using our TM and the longest. We loved the TM, it met all our needs. The weather was nice, low humidity, 50-60s at night, 80s during the day. Beaver Hollow Campground has water, electric & sewer hookups and only cost us $410 for the 2 weeks. We used their showers and just used the Thetford for liquid waste. I highly recommend this campground. All the sites are shaded by mature trees and have fire rings and solid picnic tables. They are very family friendly and have lots of activities going on weekends. Ossipee is within an hour of Conway, NH and the White Mountains. The drive back was uneventful, just long, 13 hrs. The TM towed very well and my new brake assemblies, bearings and 15" Maxxis all worked like a charm. I have metal valve stems and glad I do. I met a camper who has a large 5th wheeler and he told me a horror story how all four of his rubber valve stems failed during one trip, first one of them, and the next day the other 3!!
I've posted a couple pictures of the Saco River covered bridge in Conway, NH. We swam in the river and that water was refreshing to say the least, crystal clear and cold.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Beaver Hollow has a good reputation and is very convenient being right on Route 16.

The Saco river doesn't usually warm up that well. I camped in North Conway at Eastern Slope in mid-June back in 1975 or so, and we stayed on our rafts because the water was too cold to swim in. The local maintenance guy said the water temperature was still "in the low 50's"
