Default Redecorate

Ok, I did a search and found a few things, but am still going ask as those threads were older.
Has anyone added a wallpaper border or painted the interior ?
I have seen some pictures with the border,it must have come from the factory ? The TM we are getting is a blah tan,no color at all, everything tan. Some color would be nice.
Any advice is great. I will continue to read the forum and do searches

Also, has anyone tried to put a wall mural up ? You would have to cut it to flod down, just wondering if it would work.

Hi Maxine_51334,

I installed an mural on the street side wall where the bigger window is. I had to remove the paneling due to water damage (darn leak got the best of me) and decided to put mural on panel prior to installing it.

After that the couch and dinette cushions got recovered and the window valance with the same material. I took off the boring tan curtains and made covers with aluminum thermal materiel on the back and vinyl on the front to keep the light/heat out and never had a problem cleaning them or taking down and putting up. I used velcro to attach to the frame.

These are a few ideas I've come up with and had fun making. Hope you share your here also, good luck.

Bob

I painted one wall which was the aluminum, the original paint was pretty bad. I also made (Yeah I can run a sewing machine) burgundy curtains (well I cheated, bought the curtains from Wally World and modified them to fit.) for all the main windows, I use the standard curtain rod, take them down before I close and lay across the bed) left the blah beige privacy curtains and the window coverings in the sleeping areas alone, they were ok and I got lazy. The new curtains picked up the similar color in the couch and chair rather nicely.
I also covered the windows with "E" film that adds some privacy but more importantly keep the unit much cooler as the sun UV does not penetrate and it also helps keep the unit warmer in cold weather, but not a huge R value.
I keep promising myself I will take pictures and post, but never seem to get it done. I will try real hard to do it over the next few days.

I bought the same insulating roll as the third pic. Is that Velcro around the edge? I meant to do before I closed up for the winter and just wasn't sure how to attach.

Thanks!
