Default Easter camping at Hanna Park in Jacksonville.

We went on a 5 day weekend camping trip up to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in Jacksonville, FL, with friends. Our kids met up with us...daughter and our friends' son go to school there at UNF, and our son came up from UCF to visit.
We did some trap shooting nearby, biking in the park and at Big Talbot/Amelia islands, beach walking with dogs, a short drive to kayaking, and went to Green Room Brewing! We took a short ferry back from biking. Great park on the beach if you want a place to stay in Jax.

We camped there two years ago. DD is stationed at mayport navy base. We liked the CG. There other nice CG across the bay at Huguenot park . It is more beach type camping.

FYI...campground at Huguenot closed because of damage from Hurricane Matthew. Not sure when this campground will reopen.

Very nice! I love that the beaches are dog friendly. That's hard to find.
